Lebanese star Dolly Shahine is drawing the curtain on her singing career to dedicate her life to Jesus and her family.
Dolly, known for her daring outfits and sexual persona, announced in a Facebook post on Saturday that she is quitting showbiz and returning to singing in church instead.
"I've made a life-changing decision that I'd like to share with those who do and don't love me," she wrote on the social media website.
Describing it as "one of the toughest life decisions I've ever made," Dolly said that since the beginning of her career, she's tried to present her fans with "the highest standard of work, and despite getting it wrong sometimes, I've tried my best anyway."
The former singer's other reason for leaving her life in the spotlight is, according to her, because "a person's dignity is their most prized possession."
She also apologized to anyone she's hurt in Arab celebville and told those who have hurt her: "I forgive you."
Dolly finally told her fans that she now feels internal peace and happiness, before wishing her showbiz colleagues the best of luck in their careers.
