After an appeal was made by Egyptian businessman Hussam Abu Al Fotooh, a Cairo court had decided to lessen the charge to a one-year term after finding him guilty of filming pornographic films of women without their knowledge.
According to the London based Al Sharq Al Awsat, the trial witnessed an enormous number of people all wanting to hear the final verdict against Hussam. The court had displayed some of the tapes made by Hussam while undergoing very seductive and intimate acts with Dina and his other victims, in a private session that lasted for six hours. After watching all the tapes, the judge found Hussam guilty of filming all the women without their knowledge, despite his claim that he was married to all of them at different times.
May 24th 2003 marked the first hearing for the case against Hussam, who is accused of money embezzlement and filming pornography films of women without their knowledge. Many private and detailed questions were bluntly asked regarding the nature of Hussam's relationship to the women in his films and the fact that he used spying gadgets to make them.
Hussam had previously admitted that he did in fact film some of the women he had intimate relationships with but not without their knowledge. Hussam revealed that the relationship between him and the women were based on secret marriages and the filming was done in front of their eyes and with their full consent.
Hussam expressed his shock towards Dina's testimony against him accusing him of falsely filming their intimate relationship without her knowing. He said that Dina was fully aware of the filming that went on and that she was very supportive of it, in addition to intentionally performing very seductive moves for the camera. Hussam expressed that Dina is a liar and that she made the whole commotion with the media to get some attention and fame.
Dina had filed a lawsuit against Hussam for violating her rights while she was married to him and making pornography films of her without her knowledge. Dina stressed that she intends to make sure that Hussam pays the price for the fact that it is against the law for a man to film his wife in such an indecent circumstance. –Albawaba.com
