Moreover, Timothy Smith said that Diddy is being held in the "management unit," which doesn't offer access to other fellow inmates putting him in a safer place. He added that in Federal Prison inmates only get 300 minutes a month for phone calls making it difficult to stay in contact with the outside world.
Smith also shared his experience where he said that prisoners barely get access to TVs and even radios. He added that he would only get access to one book and the Bible once a week.
He brought up that even if Diddy was in the "general population" unit, he would only get access to one TV with more than 100 people piled up on it. There are several TVs but are all segregated by race, Smith said.
He ended it by giving Diddy advice to not negotiate and accept where he is. He said, "If you think you're going to beat them, they will break you down."
The American rapper was arrested at a Manhattan hotel amid serious federal charges, with his lawyer addressing the situation and defending his client's mental state. This all came after the American rapper received a sexual assault lawsuit and a federal investigation after a grand jury indicted him.
Combs was arrested Monday night at Park Hyatt Hotel by local police at around 8:30 PM where he will be held and then released for a court hearing.
Moreover, his lawyer suspected that the rapper was arrested over racketeering and sex trafficking, as reported by The New York Times.
