The entertainment will very soon witness a break-up between Lebanese singer Diana Haddad and her husband, UAE director Suhail Al Abdoul. The couple aside from being married have been working together for a number of years, with Suhail always directing his wife’s video clip, but Diana has decided that the time has come for them to be apart and is now looking into working with a new director.
According to the Kuwaiti based daily, Al Watan, Diana has revealed that she is looking for a new director in order to present herself in a different style from the one her husband had created, in addition to wanting to put an end to the rumors that state her husband controls her every career move. The singer has postponed her release until the end of this year and is hopeful by that time she will have found a new director with new ideas for her upcoming music video.
Recently, Diana had cancelled all entertainment activities, which include three different performances she was scheduled to hold, due to a sudden deterioration in her health. The singer had called off concerts in Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt saying she is unable to perform.
The singer also postponed her upcoming release “Hubbi Lak” (My Love is For You) until her health condition is more stable and she is back on her feet. The singer added that she postponed her new album because it still needs more alterations to be made.
Diana’s husband, has presented his wife with a new music channel as his way of showing her his love. The new channel “El Phan” will be registered in both Suhail and Diana’s names and Suhail revealed that the studios for the new channel will be based in Dubai, Cairo, and Beirut and is scheduled to be launched in October on NileSat.
Haddad is currently placing the final details on her upcoming album "Ma Dakahlit Bi Rasi" (You are not in my Head). The singer has revealed that her new album holds many new surprises, in which she has prepared two surprises for her audience. The first surprise Diana has in store for her audience is a song in the Moroccan dialect and a second a Bedouin style song sung in Italian. –Albawaba.com
