Coming up: Shnit International Short Film Festival to screen in 6 venues in Cairo

We can’t wait for the Shnit International Short Film Festival coming to Cairo from October 8th-11th for the fourth time. The 13th edition festival will be screening short films from all over the world in various cities around the globe simultaneously!

So if you’re wondering where you’ll be heading to for those incredible 4 days, the venues have finally been announced!

The festival’s incredible short films will be screened in 6 venues across Cairo:

Downtown

In the heart of Cairo, Downtown is where most of the cultural events take place. Shnit International Short Film Festival will be screened at the Greek Campus in AUC’s Downtown Campus, Goethe InstituteCinema Radio and Rawabet. 

Garden City 


  •  

Located on 10, Abdel Khalek Sarwat Street lies the Cooperation Office of the Swiss Embassy where Shnit International Short Film Festival will be screening its short movies and short panel discussions will take place.

Zamalek 


  •  

And of course, there can’t be a cultural event without it also taking place in one of the locations known for its love of art, talent and skills. The short films will also be screened in Netherlands-Flemish institute in Zamalek, also holding a number of panel discussions and events for film enthusiasts.
