ALBAWABA - Recently, a group of celebrities unveiled a new advertisement for Pepsi International, featuring the performance of Hallelujah, Hallelujah Ala Al Jamal by Al-Hadaba Amr Diab.

The commercial was shot in Egypt and featured footballers Mohamed Salah, Al-Hadaba midfielder Amr Diab, artist Ahmed El-Sakka, musician Nawal Al-Zoghbi of Lebanon, artist Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Kassir Khedr, and Brazilian Roberto Carlos.

Many of Ahmed El Sakka's fans claimed that the advertising featured AI instead of the Egyptian musician herself. Additionally, despite participating in a commercial that the Egyptian public and the Arab world perceived as a shady zionist collaboration against Palestinian rights, artist Ahmed El Sakka either denied it or refused to acknowledge it.

Nawal Al Zoghbi, a Lebanese musician, did not make any positive or negative announcements. However, her supporters claim that she did not participate, while AI did.

Conversely, the 12-song album Your Place is the most recent vocal effort by musician Amr Diab. Notable singles from the album include "I Don't Know Anyone By This Name," "By Miss Us," and "May Your Peace and Pray," all of which have been huge hits since their releases.

I must mention that in 2023, not only was Amr Diab's song "Al-Halafa" the most streamed song on the Anghami app, but he was also the most streamed singer overall.
