DIFF jury head Cate Blanchett snags another "Best Actress" award

Cate Blanchett has won the Oscar for "Best Actress in a Leading Role" for her performance in "Blue Jasmine".

The 44-year-old actress, who played the role of Jasmine, had earlier won a Golden Globe Award and a BAFTA Award for her performance.

Blanchett had previously won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in 'The Aviator' in 2004.
