The Lebanese Embassy in the UAE is celebrating both countries' independence through music.
Lebanese singer Carole Samaha will celebrate the 45th National UAE Day (25 November) and the Lebanese Independence Day (22 November) in Abu Dhabi this month.
On Thursday, 24 November, the 44-year-old singer will hold a grand concert at the Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, where she will charm an audience with her classical hits and strong stage presence.
The concert - organized by the long-running Baalbeck International Festival - will take place at the university's Auditorium at 8pm (local time).
This is the festival's first time organizing an event outside of Lebanon, which they said in a post on Facebook that "it serves as a cultural message beyond national borders, carrying a cultural and touristic message for Lebanon."
"We are proud to be part of this initiative by the Embassy of Lebanon in Abu Dhabi and the Lebanese Business Council of Abu Dhabi that will further reinforce cultural exchange and cooperation between the two countries, and which marks the first time that the Baalbeck International Festival is represented in the Arab countries," they added.
