Carole Samaha announced today that she will soon be returning to her career. The 43-year-old performer has been on maternity leave since having given birth to her firstborn daughter Tala back in September.
"Dear fans, as promised I will resume my professional activities effective this month of December. In fact, I will be joining the #GNRD team of foreign boservers who will be covering the upcoming #ParliamentaryElections in #Egypt to promote #tourism to this lovely and welcoming country and say no to terrorism," Carole shared on Instagram.

The "Khalik Bahalak" hit maker has been outspoken about her country's politics in the past as well. When Lebanon's trash issue surfaced back in August, Carole was one of many celebs to take to social media to announce their stance on the "You Stink" campaign.
