Goodwill Ambassador to the UN organization GNRD Lebanese singer Carole Samaha went on an official mission to visit one of the orphanages in Lebanon. The main aim of the visit was to overlook the conditions of the children in the orphanage, who face harsh social and economic conditions, specifically those that are handicapped.
According to Laha Magazine, Carole was super pumped to take part in humanitarian efforts in Lebanon after launching ones in Jordan and Egypt. Carole was very hurt at the devastating conditions she witnessed of Syrian refugees at the Al Za'tari refugee camp in Jordan and at the conditions of some Egyptians living in poverty stricken areas.
Carole was happy to get the opportunity to visit the orphans in Lebanon and was impressed by the loving environment created for the children. During her visit, a young orphan girl insisted on remaining by her side throughout the visit.
Carole announced during her visit that she has launched a new campaign titled "School Backpack", which will present 700 backpacks to children of all school ages. Carole said that the aim of the campaign is to collect donations to prepare children for the upcoming school year.
