Lebanese singer Carole Samaha made a splash in Egyptian resort venue, Sharm El Sheikh, during her Eid concert at Soho Square venue. She might not have been strumming her guitar in Midan Tahrir but Carole charmed Egyptian revolutionaries by dedicating a classic - 'Ahlif Bisamaha wa Turabaha' (I Swear by its Skies and Ground), originally by the late Egyptian legend Abdel Halim Hafeq - to all the victims of the revolution.
The Lebanese singer did her own version of the classic, much to the audience's delight, while holding up an Egyptian flag and wishing for peace in the Arab world. It's the third concert Carole has held in the same venue since it opened only recently. Clearly she is a fan of the Egyptian music scene.
