Lebanese artist and model Carla Botros was admitted to hospital in Beirut after having been in a horrific car accident with her family last week. Her husband and maid died immediately. They were driving a Hyundai SUV when a large vegetable truck hit them and crushed their whole car.
According to the London daily Elaph, Carla’s husband and maid were the only ones to die right on the spot, yet Carla and her two daughters Adriana and Jowana were seriously injured and taken to the hospital immediately. Carla and one of her daughters were in critical conditions and her other daughter was treated and sent home with her grandparents.
A few days ago, Carla had woken from a coma and once she was notified of her husband’s death she had a nervous breakdown. What had affected Carla most was that she did not attend her husband’s funeral ceremony since she was in a coma and his family thought it best he be buried immediately.
Carla started her show business career as a model then she moved into hosting television shows. Afterward Carla started her singing and acting career where she starred in a number of Lebanese dramas before getting married and moving out of the spotlight.
