As of November 2, the famous Turkish director Biket İlhan starts filming her new movie Tatlı Maya (Sweet Maya). İlhan is known for making socially aware films. In her latest movie, she tells a story about female unity, empathy, and change, which are themes that run through a lot of her movies.
Ayça Bingöl and Cansu Tosun play the lead roles in the movie. It also stars Suna Yıldızoğlu, Emre Altuğ, Erdem Kaynarca, Gökberk Yıldırım, Erdem Ergüney, and Fatih Serdar Yılmaz, all of whom are excellent. We are currently keeping a few surprise appearances in the movie a secret.
Tatlı Maya is a touching story about two women whose lives change when they care for each other and help each other. The movie looks at how two of the most important human values—empathy and solidarity—can change people's lives and bring them together.
Sinevizyon Film and Karina Film are making the movie, with help from the General Directorate of Cinema in the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Along with Yalçın Akyıldız and Görkem Yeltan, Biket İlhan is also one of the creators.

A heartfelt and emotionally rich story was written by Nihan Belgin and Nazlı Pınar Ünlü for the movie's script. Refik Çakar will be responsible for shooting the movie and making sure that the way it looks matches how it makes you feel. One of Turkey's best art directors, Natali Yeres, designed the production design for the movie. She made a setting that is both realistic and hopeful.
Post-production for Tatlı Maya will be finished in Greece, making the flick a project that brings people from all over the world together.
Biket İlhan, who directed movies like "The Man on the Street," "The Boatman," and "The Blue-Eyed Giant," said she wanted "Tatlı Maya" to show people how important it is to be kind and connect with others.
