Now that Beren Saat’s place at Palestine Fashion Week has been confirmed, details about how she’ll be entering the politically-unstable country have been published.

According to Al-Alam News Network, the starlet refused to enter Palestine through Israel, and the fashion week’s organizing committee are pushing for her to enter Palestine through Jordan instead.

It’s rumored that the actress wanted to enter Palestine this way because she didn’t want her passport to get stamped by the Israeli airport.

According to sources, Beren will be visiting Al Aqsa Mosque and a number of other historical sites in Palestine.

Palestine Fashion Week originally kicked off last year by “Layalina” ('Our Nights') Magazine.

“Layalina ('Our Nights')Magazine cares about fashion and modeling and we noticed that there is a larger demand lately, so we thought of organizing a national annual event,” Summer Husain, the magazine’s Palestinian-American managing editor said.

This year, “Modelicious” modelling agency is taking on the task and are currently putting the final touches on preparations for the fashion-focused event.

Tamer Halabi, Modelicious’ Managing Director, said that this year’s show is going to be different from last year’s one. “The Palestinian dress will be prominent in this year’s show. Some of the profits will go to those in need in Palestine,” Halabi happily announced.
