Nesreen Tafesh spilled the beans first that there really wasn't any chemistry between her and her co-star Bassem Yakhour.
Of course in a perfect world, there's true chemistry between the leading lady and her on-screen lover, but that's not the case for the Syrian stars.
Their lack of sparks doesn't seem to bother Bassem who commented, “Chemistry is not a must between actors, and if I appeared in a movie or series having a love affair with one actor, this does not mean that I love her in reality."
“Nesreen disagreed with the producer in the latest series we were in together, and as a result filming was shut down for a long time, so I called her, and I asked her to ignore the disagreements for the actors' sake as they were not involved from the beginning.
"I think from that day tension started to grow, adding to that some details that came later, which made things worse. However from my side, I was hoping that this issue was kept as a secret and did not go public. After all, we Syrians have more important things to look at right now," he concluded.
