The Syrian actor Basel Al Khayat just finished filming the new film “Al Laila Al Taweel” (Long Night), written by Haytham Haqi.
He also filmed his scenes for the film “Cileena,” also staring the young
Lebanese artist Miriam Fares. The film is based on the play “Hala and the King” by the Al Rahbani brothers, originally starring the legendary Lebanese artist Fairouze.
Both films are directed by Syrian director Hatem Ali.
