It could be Arabs’ lifelong love affair with smoking, or just the fact that Egyptian singer Bahaa Soltan wanted his new single to stand out, that’s made him name his latest single “Sigara” (Cigarette).

Bahaa’s album producer Nasr Mahrous was in total agreement with the singer, and decided to title the whole album “Cigarette” as well.

According to Laha Magazine, Bahaa worked with a number of well-known poets and composers to create a successful album. In addition, Nasr Mahrous personally wrote some of the songs in the album, as well as launching a huge promotional campaign to promote it in the streets of Cairo, ahead of its release next month.

Bahaa and Nasr are currently picking out the songs which they’d like to turn into music videos. The album’s main single “Cigarette” is of course amongst that list.
