After taking a short vacation to celebrate her marriage to director Tareq Al Arian, Syrian singer Asalah Nasri rushed back to recording studios to resume work on her upcoming album.
It is revealed that the new album will be specifically under the supervision of her new husband Tareq, and under the production of Rotana. One of the songs Asalah completed recording is "Aktar Min Elli Ana Bahlam Feeh" (More than I was Dreaming of), which is said to be a special dedication to Tareq.
In addition, Asalah will be filming the song in the form of a music video under the direction of Tareq.
Tareq denied that he and Asalah had gone on a honeymoon to Paris and revealed that they were in fact in Cairo the entire time preparing their new apartment.
Finally, after months of denial and secrecy, prominent Asalah tied the knot with Tareq in Cairo. The couple held a private ceremony amidst an intimate group of close friends and family members.
Asalah’s public relations office has launched a website and issued a press release, distributed to Arab media, to publicly deny all allegations made by her ex-husband Aiman Al Thahabi.
Aiman accused Asalah of being a “traitor” and a ruthless woman. He also accused her of being “selfish” and “an unfit mother,” describing her as the type of person who is willing to desert all those that matter in her life for the sake of her freedom.
Aiman has tried numerous times to win back Asalah’s love, attacking her viciously after she appeared with Al Arian.
