Arabic singing legend Amr Diab and Emirati superstar Hussain Al Jasmi will light up Dubai Media City Amphitheatre at their show on Friday, December 26.
Egyptian pop star Diab, 53, broke onto the scene in 1983 with his debut album Ya Tareeq. He has since released a string of successful records, including last year’s stellar El Leila, and has also starred in both Arabic film and television productions.
Diab has even infiltrated Hollywood, with roles in both the Sacha Baron Cohen film The Dictator and family sitcom Malcolm in the Middle.
Al Jassmi, a United Nations ambassador, released his first single Bawada’ak in 2003. He has since released tracks including Wallah Mayiswa and Bassbour Al Fourgakom, the latter of which has been choreographed for a display at the Dubai Fountain.
