After Donia Samir Ghanem’s great and surprising YouTube success left Amr Diab’s latest music video "Al Laylah" (Tonight) eating her dust with a record breaking five million hits in its first week of posting, the songster has taken his clip campaign to the streets.
Apparently, posters planted all across the country weren’t enough to remind peeps to check out the clip, so Amr and his production company ‘Rotana’ are airing it on big LCD screens they've planted across Egypt’s streets and popular squares.
The timing of the clip’s street airing aligned perfectly with its satellite channel release, such that no matter where folks go, they have the chance to dance to Amr.
According to Sayidaty.net, the clip has now been launched on three screens as an initial step at the most popular squares in Cairo and Alexandria. The locations are Arab League Square, Midan Al Sa'ah, and Samuha. The remaining locations are currently being selected.
