Amal Arafeh is ready to use those musical vocal chords once more.

She’s done it before, and now she’s doing it again. Syrian celeb Amal Arafeh is bustin’ out the high notes all as a form of patriotic service. Known better in the television world for both her acting and writing skills, the starlet is also an accomplished singer, which she uses mostly when situation warrants it.

Amal wrote a song “Dawwar Ala Hali” (Searching for Myself) that Lebanese singer Marwan Khoury composed.

According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, the song is a cry for help and performing your national duty towards your country.

Amal jet-setted to Beirut to record the track, using her own funds to produce it.

The well-rounded star plans to return to Damascus to film a clip for the song in parternship with Syrian director Mustafa Al Barqawi for the first time.

The leading lady hasn’t left her acting world behind, however. She is currently writing her new television drama "Seiko". She did not dish out the deets on which company will be producing the project that she hopes will see the light next year.

Amal is spending most of her time with her family between Syria and Lebanon.
