Amal Arafeh has sung out her grief over Syria and is now experiencing an even deeper sadness than before as she returns to her homeland with a different Damascus, one engulfed in death, as her view.
There was no warm welcome for the singing star’s return to the country after a year spent abroad in Dubai and Beirut.
According to Sayidaty.net, Amal wrote on her official page on Facebook, "I am embarrassed from my great country how I could have left you for a year…Damascus is now a sad place…and its people live in fear at the sounds of missiles and bombs.”
Amal has yet another reason for grief. The starlet expressed her deepest sorrow over the loss of actor Nidal Sijri and said that the news of his death was a very sad thing to her and all of Syria.
