ALBAWABA - Legendary French actor and film producer Alain Delon who starred in titles such as 'The Red Circle' and 'Le Samouraï' has passed away at the age of 88 which was confirmed by his three children, according to The Guardian.
His family announced his death in a heartfelt statement that said, "He passed away peacefully in his home in Douchy, surrounded by his three children and his family." According to the BBC, Delon also suffered from poor health in recent years.

One of the most influential and acknowledged actors of the 20th Century had quite a roster of movies in his discography. He first rose to fame thanks to starring in movies such as The Leopard and Rocco and His Brothers which both premiered in the 1960s.
Down the line, he starred in the iconic crime-thriller drama, Le Samouraï, directed by Jean-Pierre Melville. In the movie, Alain Delon plays a professional hitman named Jef Costello who gets caught by the police and later tries to save himself from them with the addition of a gang of assassins.
Delon showed interest in starring in crime movies and "The Red Circle" is no different. It follows the story of a thief who crosses paths with a notorious escapee and an alcoholic former policeman after leaving prison as they plot for a bank heist.
