Lebanese singer Juana Malah received an invitation from the school board at Al Hikmah School to a attend a special ceremony that will honor her for being one of Al Hikmah students and a very well respected singer.
According to the London daily Elaph, the celebration took place at the Legend Hotel in Beirut, where members from the school board, teachers and principles were present at the event. Juana was presented by the president of the school board describing her as being one of Al Hikmah children and that she’ll always be in their hearts. Juana entered the party on the beat of her song “Bewodouni” (They Promise Me) and all the audience were cheering for her.
Everyone who was present started singing with Juana, till you can no longer hear her voice. They also sang with her “Ha Tifdal Be Albi” (You’ll Always Be In My Heart), and she later on welcomed everyone who was present with a constant smile on her face. She went on saying that it is very nice to be awarded, yet when the award comes from an academic place it is very rewarding and makes one proud and happy.
Juana went on with her singing and even surprised her audience by singing for Sharifah Fadel “Lama Rah Al Saber Mino” (When Patience Disappeared). Juana, who had other ties, yet could not leave without talking to her childhood teachers and went back with her memory. Her teachers reminded her of how she was in their classes. Juana was not a quiet student, on the contrary she was very active and out going.
On a different note, Juana was present on ‘Al Jaras’ television channel before her award ceremony to clear out many points. She talked about the releasing of her new solo single “Fakrak” (I Remember You). Juana apologized to her fans for the delay of the releasing of the new solo. She says that her production company O-Music is also sorry for the delay, yet it was out of their hands.
Juana won’t be having any television interviews before the releasing of her new solo single, because she wants her fans to miss her. The clip for the new song will be directed by Naser Mahrous. At the end of the interview on Al Jaras channel Juana wished all her fans and to all the listeners happiness for Christmas and Eid Al Adha holidays.
