A month after the Family Court in Cairo ruled Egyptian actor Ahmed Ezz as the biological father of actress Zeina's twins, his lawyer Sarah Darwish announced that her client has submitted a formal request to appeal the court's decision.
Sarah said in a statement that the court will be setting a date for Ezz's appeal in the next few days, reported Al Jaras Magazine.
Clearly Ezz is not letting this go of this. To this day, Ezz insists that Zeina is telling porkie pies, which is why he was adamant not to take a DNA (paternity) test this entire time.
But will the appeals battle drag on for another year like it has before?
