Egyptian actor Ahmad Zaki has entered the third stage of chemotherapy early this week, after which his doctors forbade any visitors into his room to avoid any over exhaustion. After each chemo dosage, the actor falls into a state of utter exhaustion and any little activity has a negative affect on his condition.
According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, the past few days the actor has lost his appetite for food and a state of depression and stress fell over him leading him to notify director Dawood Abdul Said that he will not be accepting the leading role in the film “Rasa’el Albaher” (Letters from Sea). At this point doctors supervising Ahmad’s condition are placing great efforts in making his immune system stronger after he started having trouble responding to his chemotherapy.
Despite his failing health, the actor is showing high spirits in dealing with his illness. Ahmad stressed that he is adamant about fighting this disease and is hopeful his health will improve. It was revealed that the last person who visited Ahmad in the hospital was Egyptian prominent actress Mervat Amin.
Dr. Yasser Abdul Kader, a specialist in cancerous tumors, has assured that the previous session the actor underwent proved to be successful and that his condition is improving gradually. Doctors supervising Zaki's condition had previously agreed to his request of returning to the studios to continue filming "Rasa'el Al Bahr". –Albawaba.com
