A little girl from Texas was forced to celebrate her fifth birthday with her imaginary friends after her party was cancelled because of social distancing guidelines amid the coronavirus.
Little Jacey Rudd had hoped to go to a bowling and arcade game center near Dallas with her mother and her old sister before heading to Legoland and then taking a trip to the Barbie store.
But all those plans had to be scrapped. Instead, Jacey had to hold an imaginary party at her home.
Her older sister and her 'guests' were able to have a real cake while her grandma cooked her a chicken. As for presents - how about a can of disinfectant spray?
'She was able to get some dolls and she was excited because we let her spray the Lysol cans to show her how to clean,' mom Brittany Bush-Rudd told the New York Post.
'She was so excited to hold the can like an adult.'
'It really made our whole family realize that life is about the small stuff,' Bush-Rudd.
'Everything we did wasn't much, but she liked it anyway. A kid is thanking you for Lysol and a doll!'
The little girl is also no longer attending her pre-K program as a result of the pandemic and is being kept at home for the time being.
'This year has been very big for her because she has a speech disability. She has made a lot more sounds in school and is learning to speak better,' Bush-Rudd said. 'We're just so happy that she enjoys school and has a lot of friends there.'
