The world's most famous royal castle is once again the centerpiece for a spectacular winter wonderland.
Windsor Castle in Berkshire is adorned with lights, garlands and laurels for the festive season.
Thanks to kind permission for The Queen, some of the castle's most recognizable landmarks have been transformed into Christmas wonders.
Standing over 50ft high, Garter Tower is illuminated with images inspired by the stained-glass architecture and motifs from St George's Chapel dating back to the 15th century.

The images, which also include some frosty-looking snowmen, were created by talented local schoolchildren who can now see their works of art emblazoned on the front of the castle.
An enormous christmas tree also stands near the turret of the castle, with white lights shining over golden baubels.
