Disclosure of BBC presenter involved in sex scandal

BBC presenter's wife revealed that he is the prominent broadcaster at the BBC who has been facing sexual allegations for several days.

ALBAWABA - The wife of presenter at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Huw Edwards, stated that her husband is the person who has been facing allegations for several days regarding paying substantial amounts for sexually explicit pictures.

"I am doing this primarily out of concern for his mental health and the protection of our children," she said.

On Wednesday, Huw  Edwards' wife revealed that he is the prominent broadcaster at the BBC who has been facing sexual allegations for several days.

Vicky Flind, in a statement sent to the British news agency "PA," wrote: "I am issuing this statement on behalf of my husband, Hugh Edwards, after five extremely difficult days for our family," mentioning that her husband is experiencing depression issues.

"Once well enough to do so, he intends to respond to the stories that have been published, she added.

In the statement, Huw's wife shares her husband's apology to his colleagues: "I know that Huw is deeply sorry that so many colleagues have been impacted by the recent media speculation. We hope this statement will bring that to an end."

BBC has suspended one of its well-known presenters, whose name has not been disclosed, from work following the revelation of their intimate exchanges with a minor that lasted for several years.

Earlier, the Sun newspaper reported that the mother of a teenager accused a "well-known to millions" BBC presenter of sending explicit photos to her child.
