ALBAWABA - In Egypt, security forces have managed the capture the person who is responsible for the tragic killing of jewelry store owner, Hosni Al-Khanagry, who was robbed of his gold possessions earlier this week.

Following the theft, the perpetrator was captured and taken to a local police station, where he will need to await further legal action to see what his fate is.

Within just 24 hours of the tragic incident, Egyptian authorities were able to identify the assailant by going over surveillance footage from nearby streets and shops in the area where the crime happened to take place. Luck was on the authorities' side in this case as they managed to find just what they needed from the footage.

With the use of the surveillance footage, the culprit's whereabouts were able to determine, leading to his arrest, with plans to present him before the public prosecution on Wednesday.

The crime took place at Al-Khanagry's jewelry store, located in the Boulaq Abu Al-Ela neighborhood of central Cairo, where he was attacked and his valuable jewelry was taken by an unknown perpetrator.

The fast action taken by law enforcement in identifying and capturing the suspect shows just how much dedication they had coming into this case, and while this isn't the kind of story that can have a happy ending, at least the person who caused the tragedy in the first place did not manage to get away.
