ALBAWABA - Using the Shroud of Turin which dates back to 2,000 years ago as a reference, an AI-generated image of what Jesus could've looked like in the past went viral across social media with users saying that he's the look-alike of American actor Jarred Letto.
One user wrote, "Really, just happens to look exactly like Jared Leto," another added, "Beautiful. Christ is King."
On the other hand, many others didn't like the fact that AI is predicting their "Lord and Savior" Jesus Christ through "demonic" technology, with another quoting a verse from The Bible:
"Isaiah 53:2b: He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him."

The Shroud of Turin which is also known as the Holy Shroud is a piece of lenin clothing that dates back to the 13th century. Additionally, it showcases the front and back of a man who is believed by millions of Christians to be Jesus Christ after his execution as mentioned above.
It was presented to the dean of the church in France by Geoffroi de Charny who claimed it was Jesus's cloth in 1354. It was later acquired by the House of Savoy in 1453 and put inside a chapel in Chambéry, France but got damaged because of a fire in 1532.
In 1578, the piece of linen was moved to Turin, Italy where it currently resides in right now.
