A woman left her newborn child in a toilet bowl at a hospital in China.
The baby was rescued by a nurse from the commode, who carefully pulled the infant out, cleaned off the blood, and wrapped it in a blanket.
It appears that she gave birth to the child and abandoned it there as nurses found traces of placenta in the toilet of the hospital.
According to Daily Mail, it seems the young woman had gotten pregnant and had the child but couldn't tell her family because she is unmarried.
The woman tried to run away but was stopped by nurses and other people.
Police are investigating the incident.
