In one of snowstorm Huda's most unexpected consequences, a man divorces his wife.
According to local Jordanian media outlets, the husband updated his Whatsapp status on Tuesday with the name of the snowstorm "Huda." The status angered his wife even after he assured her that "Huda" was the name of the snowstorm, not that of another woman.
A huge fight transpired, leading neighbors to resolve the dispute. Nonetheless, the husband decided to end the marriage.
Since the advent of this unpopular stormy visitor to the Levant, Jordan has seen more than 500 car accidents, and at one point nearly all roads were declared closed in the entire country. Sadly, a few people died in car wrecks, and others from carbon-monoxide poisoning related to gas heaters, claimed local reports. The UN said refugees were struggling, particularly in the camps where many live in makeshift shelters.
