A video showing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sharing an Iftar meal with Muslim politicians has gone viral, garnering nearly four million views since being uploaded to Facebook on Tuesday.
In the video, which wishes observers "Ramadan Mubarak," Trudeau can be seen tucking in to hummus, kubbeh, stuffed vine leaves, dates, and other Middle Eastern and Asian foods.
Trudeau has become known for building close relationships with the Muslim community and other minorities in Canada. Another video from 2013, two years before being elected as Prime Minister, documented his visit to a mosque, showing him joining Muslims for evening prayers during Ramadan.
Many commented on this year's Ramadan video post, voicing their support for Trudeau's inclusiveness.
