Daniel Pipes, a US historian, writer and political commentator, has faced mockery on Twitter after sharing a photograph of what appears to be a young Justin Trudeau praying at a mosque. He is known for his controversial views on Islam, however after arguing that the photograph suggests the Canadian prime minister was a Muslim, he faced the humorous wrath of the Internet.
Pipes made a similar accusation against US President Obama, reportedly arguing that Obama was perhaps once a Muslim and had left the faith, thus may be looked down upon in the Islamic world.
