A heavily armed gunmen stormed a branch of Al Rajhi Bank in the southern Jazan region of Saudi Arabia, shouting "God is great" [Allahu Akhbar], Al Khaleej Affairs reports.
In a foiled but deadly attempt to rob the bank, the culprit shot and killed the branch manager while holding the remaining employees and customers hostage inside the bank.
Saudi security forces secured the bank and the gunmen is now in custody, al-hamdullilah.
Somehow this supposed Islamic enthusiast missed class at Quran school on the day it was mentioned that stealing is haram...
In all cases, he's certainly spurred interest on the social media masses who have raced to mock him as a "terrorist" committing bank crimes in the name of God.
