Royal Oman Police arrested five students for setting fire in teacher’s room of a school in Sohar.
The ROP rushed to the school and brought the situation under control.
The students confessed to setting fire using gasoline after they sneaked into the school in the evening. They did not state a motive to the police.
No one was wounded in the blaze, but substantial damage was done to the building.
