With Dubai's recent win in being voted The World's Fourth Best City, it's no surprise that celebrities are making the emirate city a hot spot stop on their worldly travels. In the last month alone, 55 celebrities have been spotted in the beautiful desert oasis.
Some of the A-list celebs range from Will.I.Am to Shah Rukh Khan to John Travolta. Dubai will also claim rights to the filming location for the biggest upcoming Bollywood movie in over a decade. Khan, the main character, will be shooting scenes at The Atlantis, The Palm and Dubai Mall over the next few days. This will not be the first Atlantis celebrity mash up and is certainly not going to be the last. Joining her will be co-star Deepika Padukone from recently released "Fast and Furious 7".
The music scene in Dubai is also scheduled to host names like Salena Gomez and X Factor Arabia winner Mohammad Rifi. Each bringing their own flavor for those seeking a large concert blowout of looking to enjoy a music festival like Dubai Music Week.
On a global level, Dubai is also in the running for the host city of the Expo 2020 event. "Each World Expo is a catalyst for economic, cultural and social transformation and generates important legacies for the host city and nation." This would maximize the cities allure if it was ever questionable.
