Dubai Trade E-services Excellence Award appreciates E-transformation in Trade & Logistics

The final countdown has begun for the 3rd E-Services Excellence Award, ESEA 2010, the much-awaited event organised by Dubai Trade, the leading business facilitator under Dubai World, to encourage conversion to online services and to honour the best performers.
Dubai Trade announced today that ESEA 2010 will be held on January 19, 2011 at Al Multaqa Ballroom, Dubai World Trade Center, under the theme “Appreciating e-Transformation in Trade & Logistics”, that reflects the ever-increasing demand for cost-effective and time-saving solutions offered by the online platform.
During the award ceremony, Dubai Trade will make a special announcement that will potentially accelerate the course of e-transformation and bring great operational advantage to the trade and supply chain customers.
ESEA 2010 will recognise six of the best performers under the following categories: Clearing Agent of the Year, Importer of the Year, Exporter of the Year, Haulier of the Year, Free Zone Company of the Year, and Shipping Agent of the Year.
The winners for this year were chosen based on criteria that reflect the growth percentage in e-services adoption and the volume of business transactions conducted through Dubai Trade Portal over 2010.
A special appreciation award will also be given to recognize and appreciate companies that have whole heartedly supported Dubai Trade in various initiatives and that participated in the development of its Portal.
The annual gala award ceremony is expected to be attended by senior management executives and key decision makers from across the public and private sectors, including manufacturing & trading, supply chain & logistics, government, financial institutions, as well as Dubai World and its major business units, and media partners.
