Community poll on Facebook crowns French as the top language to learn for FREE this July at Eton Institute

Language enthusiast in the UAE voted French as the ‘top language’ to learn for free this July at Eton Institute. The community poll was conducted on Facebook, a popular networking site with thousands of followers. The month long course will be conducted from 14^th July to 9^th August, 3 times a week on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.

French, the language of love, took an early lead in the competition and won by a landslide with 99 votes in its favour while Arabic and Spanish came a close second and third as members of Eton Institute’s online community took to furiously voting to ensure the language of their choice took the top spot. While Turkish, Mandarin, Italian and German made their presence known, the general consensus remains that French is the reigning king of foreign languages.

Language enthusiasts were given the power to pick from 13 popular languages – Arabic, French, Spanish, Turkish, Mandarin, Japanese, Farsi, German, Italian, Romanian, Hindi, English, or Russian – with the triumphant language being offered this month for Free in the beginner level.

Moaz Khan, Marketing Manager at Eton Institute commented: “As an active member of the international community we are committed to offering free courses and cultural evenings in various languages every month. The Facebook poll reinforced this commitment and acted as a tool to engage with our followers while giving them the power to choose their top language.”

Registrations for the FREE French course will open on 13^th July and places will be offered on a first come first serve basis. Interested participants are advised to book their place at the earliest keeping in mind the high demand and limited places available.
