Zamil wins $17 million glass contract

Zamil Glass Industries recently won a tender to supply Jeddah’s Middle East Convention Center with 65 million Saudi Riyals ($17.33 million) worth of frameless glass, said a company statement. The Dorma Gulf Company executed the fitting for the 3,500-square meter shopping center. 

 

The company will supply 1,000 square meters of flat frameless double glazed units for store fronts, 1,200 square meters of double glazed azuarlite insulated units for office buildings, 500 square meters for the shopping center’s handrails and 1,550 square meters of curved frameless double glazed units for the Center’s exterior. 

 

Established in 1998, the Zamil Industrial Investment Company (ZIIC) has factories and industrial facilities in Dammam and other sites in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company manufactures three major products: pre-engineered steel buildings, air conditioners and glass products.
