Yemen and India could sign a deal for the supply of 3 million tones of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to India by the end of the year, a spokesman for the Yemeni oil ministry said Thursday.
Negotiations were at an advanced state, the source said.
Following the signing of a deal, tenders would be requested for the construction of an LNG plant, expected to cost 2.2 billion dollars, he added.—AFP.
