Wafi Mall, a major leisure and retail destination in Dubai, is planning a major investment that will see the construction of three to four large residential towers at the site, said a senior company official.

According to Gulf News, the centre is already undergoing a Dh513.8 million expansion.

Mike Davidson, director of Wafi Property, said, "The development of residential towers is still in the incubation stage. We will focus on that once we complete the current phase of expansion which involves the construction of Raffles Dubai Hotel, a two-level car parking, a two-level shopping arcade and associated facilities."

Wafi Mall is owned and operated by MKM LLC. Established in 1989 the Mall accommodates 225 shops and over 1000 different brands. The mall is a leading outlet for international fashion brands with many exclusive labels including Chanel, Escada, Aigner, Cerruti and Jaegar.
