Turkish products exhibition to open in Bahrain

The Turkish embassy in cooperation with the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICC) will organise the second Turkish Products Exhibition in Bahrain from May 19 to 22 at the Gulf International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Gulf Hotel.  

 

The event is under the patronage of the Minister of Commerce, Ali Saleh Al Saleh.  

 

The Turkish Minister of Finance, Kemal Unakitan, will be in the Kingdom of Bahrain for the inauguration accompanied by a delegation.  

 

The Chairman of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Mehmet Yildirm, will head the businessmen delegation.  

 

"The exhibition will be a good opportunity for further development of bilateral trade and could be instrumental in diversification of products, while helping the creation of fruitful and long-standing trade relations between the Turkish and Bahraini companies and the people," Turkey’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Hilal Baskal, said.  

 

61 companies from different sectors will take part in the exhibition. Construction materials, furniture, interior/exterior decoration, jewellery, textile and ready wear, home and electrical appliances, automotive parts, food, packaging, handcraft and giftware, stationary, cosmetics and machinery. 

 

Over 100 businessmen representing the participating companies will also be attending the exhibition. 

 

The exhibition will be open to the public from 9:30 am to 12:30 and from 4 to 10pm. On May 20-21, morning hours (9:30 to 12:30) will be exclusive for women and children. (menareport.com)
