Total value of land transactions in Dubai

The total value of land transactions in Dubai yesterday peaked at Dhs129.07 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs84 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs45.01 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 11 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of yesterday, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Barsha First that was sold for Dhs36.741 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Baraha acquired for the sum of Dhs14.4 million and another in Al Barsha First for Dhs11.22045 million.

 

The Al Barsha First area was the most active in terms of the yesterday sales, with some 2 transactions. Mirdif followed it with 2 sales.

 

During  the period, Al Barsha First recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs47.96 million, followed by the Al Baraha area, Dhs14.4 million, and Naif area, Dhs7 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 24494 sq ft in the Al Barsha First area, which went for Dhs36.74 million. A 11811.01 sq ft plot in the Al Barsha First Area was acquired for Dhs11.22 million, while 10000 sq ft of Mirdif was disposed of for Dhs2.35 million.

 

During the period under review 17 mortgages worth Dhs36.67 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs13.5 million for an area at Jumeira First. There was another for Dhs9.16 million on an area in Al Barsha First.
