Tadawul Streaming Quotes has reached agreement with National Technology Group (NTG) to offer a real-time price and information dissemination service for the Saudi Stock Market, the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a subscription basis.
Called Uniquotes, the system is a real-time market data feed and enables subscribers to watch market movements in real-time from home or office. Subscribers can view on their computer screens, dynamically updating real-time prices, time and sales, corporate actions, news, charts, market depth, alerts, portfolio, top gainers, losers and much more in Arabic or English.
UniQuotes is available in two versions: a Workstation version targeted at banks, high net-worth individuals and active investors, and a Streamer version targeted at the retail investor. Both services can be accessed through a dial-up Internet connection apart from other flexible connectivity options.
There are about 80 firms listed on the Saudi Stock Market. The market is supervised by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (Sama), which, in 1997, approved the participation of international investors in the market through mutual funds. Market capitalization between 1990 and 2002 increased by 189 percent and the all share index has increased by 157 percent. — (menareport.com)
