The number of Arab and foreign tourists who visited Syria in the first quarter of the current year reached 1.2 millions i.e. an increase of 4.5 percent compared with the same period last year.
The Syrian tourism ministry added in a statement issued Thursday that the number of Arab tourists in the first quarter of this year reached 430,000 compared with 363,000 in the same period last year i.e. an increase of 19 percent.
