The Sudanese Ministry of Treasury, Al-Zobair Ahmed Hassan, has denied the existence of a dispute between the Ministry of Treasury and the Sudanese districts regarding the distribution of the Value Added Tax (VAT) revenues, reported Al-Rayaam newspaper.

However, the minister confirmed that there is some kind of disagreement amongst the districts themselves regarding how to distribute 35 percent of these revenues. This portion of tax revenues is currently divided amongst the various districts on the basis of a temporary agreement, until a final arrangement is decided on. — (Albawaba-MEBG)
