Saudi King Salman and Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed on Thursday signed two agreements and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Al-Auja Palace in Diriyah, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
A loan agreement was signed for the implementation of the second phase of the Integrated Agricultural Development Project in Joumin, Ghazala and Sijnan in Tunisia. Another signed loan agreement between the (Saudi Fund for Development) SFD and Tunisia aims at improving the supply of potable water in the rural area of the Tunisian governorate of Bizerte.

A MoU was also signed to extend the Saudi grant for maintenance of the King Abdulaziz Mosque in the Tunisian capital of Tunis.
The agreements were signed on the Kingdom’s side by Ahmed Aqeel Al-Khateeb of the SFD, and on the Tunisian side, by Tunisian Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation Ziad Al-Athari.
