Saudi Arabia's exports of textiles and clothing were ranked fifth among 23 selected countries, which are members of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in terms of growth and 15th in value, according to UN Comtrade figures quoted by Munir Ahmed, the Executive Director of the International Textiles and Clothing Bureau.
The Saudi Kingdom's exports increased from $55 million in 1995 to $134 million in 2002 - a 13.6 percent increase, SPA reported.
The majority of Saudi exports in 2002 went to the US ($27 million) and the EU ($29 million). (menareport.com)
